Race Day Tasks

Volunteers assisting with registration will need to be at Patterson Park by noon all other volunteers should arrive by 1:00 p.m.

Volunteer Coordinator

Registration

To register runners (late entries) and to give out numbers and race materials to pre-registered individuals.

NUMBER NEEDED (8)

Water Stop

To set up various water, transport and hand out to participants. Responsible for clean up of area.
Materials needed: Water, means to transport, cups, trash bags, and tables.

NUMBER NEEDED (4)

Course Marshalls and Split Timers

To guide runners in proper direction and provide a measure of safety.

NUMBER NEEDED (12)

Finish Line

Assist the finish line director in processing runners into and out of the finish chutes, removing tags from runners, instructing runners (in the chutes), separating runners before reaching chutes (male/female), and providing chute closing.

Refreshments

Setup refreshment areas with tables, food, drinks, etc. and control same as participants enter the area.

Clean Up

Take down tables, pack up items, empty trash etc.
