Today I am sharing an inside look at Earl’s Place through the eyes of our resident manager, Renard Noble.

Renard has been employed with us since October 2014 as the live-in Resident Manager.

He first came to Earl’s Place in August of 2011.  Like so many of the men who come to us, he had completed a treatment program and came to us seeking help for a new life.  While at Earl’s Place he worked with the case manager, Jim, on his goals, including employment.  By their count he applied for more than 75 positions before he was successful.  In 2013, he obtained employment as a dishwasher in a local restaurant, but quickly moved into a cooking position.

Fortunately for us, when I called him to see if he would be interested in returning to Earl’s Place as an employee he said yes.  For the past six years he has been an example to all who move-in that it is possible to change their lives.

Thank you for providing opportunities for Renard and so many others. Together, we are changing lives.

Our  world is brighter because of you, Sheila
